The Dytran model 7500A series is a high precision single axis variable capacitance (VC) accelerometer available with a range of 2g up to 400g. This high performance accelerometer combines an integrated VC accelerometer chip with high drive, low impedance buffer for low level acceleration measurements.
Tailored for zero-to-medium frequency applications, the model 7500A series features a low end frequency response of 0 Hz (DC) and upper frequency range of 400 Hz up to 2,500 Hz. This module contains a MEMS capacitive sensing element, a custom integrated circuit amplifier, low noise electronics and differential output, housed in a lightweight titanium, with a 4-pin 1/4-28 radial connector and easy mounting via two #4 or M3 screws. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
