The analogue signal (Vdc or ma) is achieved using the measurement of the time that elapses (Period Measurement) between any 2 consecutive input pulses, referencing a precision clock and using only a few pulses. The Period Measurement conversion is far superior to the method of counting pulses, as it reacts to the rate of the pulses, that in turn relates to the speed of rotation.
T402 / T412 alternative uses the T401 / T411 to create the 0(2)..10 V output. This is achieved by using a T401 / T411 with a 500 Ω / 0.1% / ¼ W resistor across the (0)4-20 mA output terminals.
