The MLP series defines innovation in miniature linear potentiometers, combining small size with powerful performance and environmental durability. Designed to withstand harsh conditions, these potentiometers are IP67 rated, ensuring protection against dust ingress and temporary water immersion. They operate reliably across an extended temperature range from -22° to 300°F, with a short-term tolerance up to 350°F, making them versatile for various challenging environments.

With a life expectancy exceeding 25 million cycles, the MLP potentiometers are engineered for durability and consistent performance, especially in high-cycle applications. They offer absolute linear position measurement up to 6 inches (150 mm), with options for full stroke ranges from 0.5 to 6 inches (12.5 to 150 mm). The output is provided via a signal voltage divider, with linearity ranging from 0.5% to 1%, and essentially infinite resolution ensures precise readings.

The conductive plastic linear potentiometer sensor, encased in an aluminum enclosure, maintains a lightweight design at 1.6 oz. (46 g) max., contributing to its ease of integration into various systems. The recommended maximum input voltage is 42 VDC, with operating wiper current less than 10μA, to ensure energy efficiency. A 19-inch (500mm) electrical cable with a VITON sleeve further enhances its robustness, suitable for industrial automation, test and measurement, robotics applications, and more.
