Details

The LT-RM transmitter is specifically designed to provide true RMS (Root Mean Square) measurements of AC voltage or current signals, ensuring precise and reliable results for industrial applications. With six voltage input ranges and four current input ranges, all factory calibrated and jumper-selectable, the device supports a wide variety of applications. The built-in 5A range uses an internal 0.01 ohm shunt resistor, eliminating the need for external transformers.

True RMS measurements calculate the equivalent heating value of an AC waveform, even for complex or distorted signals. This makes it ideal for applications with non-sinusoidal waveforms or fluctuating loads. The device processes signals from DC to 5 kHz, ensuring accuracy for a variety of electrical systems.

High common mode rejection allows accurate measurements even when using current shunts located on the high side of the line. Additionally, digital signal filtering can be configured to stabilize readings in noisy environments.
