The AMTI BMS600600 is a mid-sized, high-performance force platform designed for biomechanical analysis of human movement. With a sensing area of 600 x 600 mm and a rugged composite top plate, it provides precise 6-axis force and moment measurements for applications ranging from gait analysis to jumping, cutting, and running dynamics.
Part of AMTI’s industry-leading OPTIMA Biomechanics Measurement Series (BMS), the BMS600600 delivers exceptional accuracy (±0.5% of applied load), low hysteresis, and outstanding center-of-pressure (COP) precision. Built-in strain gauge bridges measure forces along all three axes as well as moments (Mx, My, Mz), with typical crosstalk of only ±0.2% and COP accuracy within 0.5 mm.
Each system includes the BMS600600 force plate, OPTIMA external signal conditioner (OPT-SC), a 9 m transducer cable, and mounting kit. The platform supports analog and USB digital outputs, and is fully compatible with AMTI’s Modular Rail System (MRS) for easy lab reconfiguration and long-term scalability.
This model is ASTM F3109-23 certified, ensuring it meets strict standards for performance verification in clinical and research-grade motion labs. It's widely used in biomechanics, rehabilitation, and sports performance labs worldwide.
