Details

The Dytran model 1050C is a piezoelectric charge mode force sensor, designed to measure both compressive and tensile forces from 10 to 5,000 lbf over a wide frequency range. Offered with a sensitivity of 18 pC/lbf, this dynamic force sensor can measure up to 500 lbs full scale in tension mode, with reliable high temperature operation to +500°F (+260°C).

Design of the model 1050C features a quartz shear sensing element, operating in compression mode and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing for an overall weight of 32 grams. Units incorporate a 10-32 axial connector and a 1/4-28 tapped hole located at the top of the sensor housing for ease of mounting.

Supplied Accessories: (2) model 6204 mounting studs (1/4-28 to 1/4-28), (1) model 6210 impact cap
